If you want to remain competitive you probably have to treat SEO for your company a bit like a job. You will want to work on it at least 5 days a week most likely and at least an hour or two per day minimum. One good thing about SEO is that you can mix it in with other valuable business assets like content, customer service new services/products, social interaction etc. If you do not have enough time it is pretty inexpensive these days to find someone for an affordable rate to help at least in the beginning until you get an action plan together. The good thing about SEO if it is done right it is a company investment that can last a lifetime.
