Hello,

I am the owner of a celebrity blog and forum, I have seen that it’s possible to sell website on the internet so I was checking an online tool and I found the value of my site is around $75,000.

I really would like to sell it as soon as possible.

Can you guys give me a confirmation about the metric and system used to evaluate my website?

I have contacted BizBroker24, a good Mergers and Acquisition company of E-Business and they told me they can give me 3.0x multiple of my NET Income (Cash).

What do you think about it?

Thank you a lot!

Sites for online determination of site values are not even close to real price (you will 100% far less then they say). There are many factor but most important are:

- Users per day and are they unique from search engine or some type of ads or social media.
- Earnings (most important factor).
- Site niche - for example you can't get same price for site about movies, celebrity etc and site about medicine, cars, banking etc. 2 site with same stats but different niche can get more then 3-4x difference in price (some time even more).
- Cost and time of maintenance.

That are some main factor.

But let's say if your site is legit minimum you should ask is 10-12x monthly earnings (depend on site stats and niche can go much higher).

Btw if you have no earnings on site you can forget about sale because nobody buying "potential" (i mean you can sell it but for joke of a price). If that site had so much potential you would use it so don't use that line when selling it make you sound like a guy who have no idea about websites or for me personally sound like you think buyer is an idiot (at least i see it like that and i don't think i am only one). :)

There's no magic formula on pricing your website. The real worth is based on many factors such as your website's traffic, revenue, competitors, niches,...and the market you're joining. However the most factor I see that is depending on your customer need. If you find a right customer then you can flip it with very high price, or you need to wait and in some cases it's not worth at all.

Good luck to you,

I think 3x revenue for white hat site is not eligible. You have to ask at least 10-20x revenue but it depends on your stats. Mine always calculating 1 or 2 years income. After that, I get the average revenue per month. Then, traffic source also needs to be considered. Traffic from search engine usually more valuable than others. If both your revenue and traffic are great. Then you might ask as I stated before.
