How have you learn photoshop?

I want to know how you've learn photoshop.

I've recently downloaded some ebooks for learning, but it's really boring to read a whole paragraph to understand simple things and practise them in PS.

Although, I've done some basic design on photoshop, the PS interface still seems very complex to me with all of its features that it may contain. :(

SO, I want to know how you (those who are really good @ PS) get started with photoshop.

Most just use a lot of tutorials to figure out how to use the tools and then just improvise with the tools and techniques they learned.

I saw some tutorials and then I experimented.

I had started the free gfx work to improve my skills and now, I think design somewhat like professionals.

So practice as much as you can, its the only thing that'll make your excel in your work.
 
I learned by myself.
Im a quick learner so i got familiar with its functions at school (Photoshop 5 or 6 i think).
But even now, i watch tutorials and get ideas.. :)
 
i just messed up with th tools...then i looked for signature tuts i tried to imitate then i got some skills i used them to copy things and later it became easy :)
I can now design templates :)
It took me less than 2 months:)
