So I am being swayed by the new Galaxy S8 to make the switch from my iPhone to S8 and have concerns regarding some of the features Android has, a platform I left over 5 years ago.
One thing I use a lot on my iphone is the TouchID to not just unlock the phone but to sign in to my bank and credit card accounts, make purchases, etc. I am located in the US where every bank/card company has TouchID, I wanted to know how's this for Android? Is the fingerprint authentication adoption as widespread as it's in iOS?
Also anything else I should know (apart from iMessage, Facetime, Siri, 3Dtouch)?

Also feel free to let me know the features I'd gain by the switch to Android (apart from rooting, customization, easy data transfer)!!
