How do i add advertisements on my wordpress blog?

I want to show some advertisement in my wordpress index page. advertisement will show after every 3/4 post. I am using blog type post.


Any one can help me.

i learned something from that question but i honestly didnt bother about it because it doesnt have much effect on your sites performance or anything, anyways, im qute sure the links posted above me is indeed useful
