How come CS4 will not work on my windows 7 ?

Hey guys

why doesnt photoshop CS4 work on my windows 7 ? i tried both CS3 and CS4 but nither work. Does that mean i have to use CS5 ?

Try CS5... If not Install .NET 4.0 if still not make sure you are installing the correct bit version for your OS.

OK i have CS3 and CS4 which worked on XP, but does not work on my windows 7. I installed it but it doesn't open and sometimes comes up with a notification saying program stopped working. My windows 7 in 64 bit

Is this a legal copy or have you tried to patch it? Because some patches do not work with the new CS5 or CS versions at all... Try to find a different patch...

Look for the one that is a copy of the file "amtlib.dll" Make sure is the one corresponding to your version... I have the CS4 and CS5 one if you want a link. :D

Its a downloaded version...I am downloading CS5 extended version atm so hopefully it work. It be great if i could get the link to the one you use
