How can I put option to show/hide Porn Section

Hey Friends,
I got complain from some of the members that they dont want to see Porn Section and or Want to hide post from those section.


I have seen an option in some forums that from User Control Panel you can chose if you want to hide/show that forum.

Edit: Forum Software is vB 4.0.3

Someone pls help me.

AdminCP > Users > Search User > type the username and edit his profile. You'll see a tiny dropbox on the top. It must be saying Forum Permissions. Click on Go. You'll see everything is checked as default. Scroll down to your adult section and click on No (the second option). Scroll down and save.

Now that member will not be able to see that section. Hope you understood it

oh well, thanks for that option, But I want to know if there are any Plugins/Mods available or not. so that any member can select on their own.

You can do another thing. It's just a workaround :P

Create a separate open group, and ask members to join that group if they want to see the porn section. Otherwise by default it won't be shown to them

The users can goto their control panel and change their membership/permissions anytime they want by changing the group.

There's no plugin for that. You can use vegeta's method
