I am not a UNIX programmer but a quick search of Google with "make a bootable usb with Centos 6.6" takes you here: Creating a Bootable USB Drive w/CentOS 6.x | Linux.org where you will find:


"You don't just transfer an ISO to a USB stick. It will not work. You need to use a program like unetbootin to change the iso into bootable programs."

Yes,we can put direct ISO,if we use:
easy2boot
