vgnheart@ I am not sure what you mean, can you please clarify the question? If you're asking where these are located, then, yes these are located in OVH, France and have 10Gbps speeds.

somughosh2009@ we do not have a problem with any programs as long as they're not used for spam, ddos/dos etc. and don't get our IPs blacklisted.

finally i switched to ssd mainly due to disk I/O...... i normally save files which are larger than 1gb or put multiple files in queue. this can really take more than 2 minutes to rebuild (idm users know wht i mean)

now i actually save 80% of my time downloading and re-uploading thanks to 10gbps and super fast ssd.

some screenshots to back my statement.. no use having 10gbps if the disk cant handle it.

Disk I/O 577 MB / sec (Windows resource monitor)

Update: This is a vds (virtual dedicated server) so cpu share is dedicated to me. i have to rape it for things like encoding etc but i will be using 2 dedicated cores allocated only to me. You cant oversell Vmware VDS (google) ;)

technically its impossible to test the full potentials of a 10gbps.... even small businesses dont have access to such a big connectivity :P but i have tried to do my level best. see following screenshot.

@am21, wow have a look on cpu and ram usage. This is called as "Server Rape" . this server model only have 2x 300 GB SSD. If you use I/O like this, whats left for other users :)
 
@vgnheart: do you think im going to download 1000mb test files 24/7 ? i tried to max out the level and see potentials of ssd for reviewing purpose only :)
