Horror Movies, which one?

Hi Guys,

I'm in a bit of a pickle,
my little bro is staying over my house tonight and he
wants to watch a scary/horror movie but most of the ones
that i have seen are not even that scary,
so basically i want your opinions on which movie to watch
with him, it need's to be a recent movie (last 10 years)
it needs to have a good story line and quality actors
and it needs to be a movie which scares you to the point
where you wake up in the middle of the night :P

Anyway any suggestions please?

If you really want some good horror movies dont even think about seeing hollywood ones, they suck. These are some of the best non english horror movies that i have seen so far,
Rec 1 and 2, The Orphanage, Frontiers ( a lot of gore, so make sure he'll be able to watch) and Martyrs(again, a lot of gore)
