Hey all.

Well iv been thinking about this a little while. I'v got the trusted rank and so do some others, and im sure they earned it. But what kinda gets a little bit lame is that the likes of "ultima", "jmz" etc, the ones who have contributed a hell of a lot are in the same boat as me? Personally i think they deserve to have a higher rank than me. They have been in the game longer and i sure as shit dont mind admitting they have done more than me.

I propose a "platinum" rank of some kind, like an ambassador rank or something for those that are a cut above the "trusted" rank.

What do you all think?

hmmm well we all know these icons in the scene and the true members of the warez scene pay them respect where due, im not sure these will particulary mind about a platinum rank tbh but i do agree that they should have a symbol of appreciation somehow !
 
^^ Agreed. Its better to have range of trust :P. Bt yes, better work should be rewarded better. I agree with JayFella's idea.
 
Actually for warez icons such as UltimA,JmZ etc they dun need any rank tbh.Most of us know them and respect them irrespective of any rank ;)

No disrespect to anyone, but what would a higher rank do exactly? if you respect someone so much show your appreciation in your signature/site like some are doing.

And why only UltimA and JmZ? What about Dman, litewarez, SplitIce, Hyperz... I don't know them very well but they are great contributors and I know they helped some people with their work, and many others.

Respected is not just about how long you've been in the scene, trust me there are a lot of people that been around the scene for a long time that I don't even consider adding their name in the ignore list because it's not worth my time, many people deserve trusted, not just "old" folks.

Back to the original subject, higher ranks do nothing, it'll give a bad competitive vibe and an unfair listing. i.e: why him and not me? We're already having enough of that with the trusted ranks available now.
