High traffic on Sub-Domain and Low on Main Domain?

Hi

I had a slight doubt.

If i have a high traffic/good backlinks etc on sub-domain but not much on the main domain, will google PR only the sub-domain or it PR also the main domain?

It has happened to many people that their sub-domains got PR not their main domain.

So that's the reason i was asking.

The PR does not carry over, although it may help the main domain somewhat and vice versa. If you're linking to it, it will help more.

You are right..

And above your PR is the quality of your content. And content is king.
