I think that it is a problem with your database..

wp_postmeta table might of crashed, try repairing and and let me know if that solves the problem.

If not try this also..

Install

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ajax-thumbnail-rebuild/

and then try changing this after line 172

$fullsizepath = get_attached_file( $id ); + if ($fullsizepath == '') $fullsizepath = get_post($attachment_ID)->guid;
also the php.ini file with this..

the php.ini file.. what you have to do is just have that code i put on on it.. so the php.ini file should look like the code i posted. if not then i will try find another way around this.. let me know

Ok.. the image that you are uploading, is it a greyscale image or full colour ?
Would you mind setting an admin account up for me on your blog & i can go in & try sort it for you ?

This is kinda old post...Did it got resolved ?

Anyways...If not..try below given step

Go into media setting ...Admin panel ==> Setting ==> Media

Check if size are given to Thumbnail size...Medium size & Large Size

If not..Give the size..

Thumbnail size - 150 x 150
Medium size - 300 x 300
Large size - 1024 x 1024

If size are already given...Just change the height & width value and button will work

Please note : Radio button are disabled if actual image size are smaller than the default radio.
For example :
My default size setting in media is as given above & if I upload picture which is small than 150 x 150...then all 3 radio button will be disabled...say like I upload 80 x 80 image...the radio button will be disabled & I will have only original size option.

If your image size is greater than the image default size...then radio button will be enabled to select.

You can save your $10...Just let me know if this help.

Hi Fewcent, thanks for the reply

No my problem didn't get resolved yet, follow all instructions you gave and still no go.

I really hope its not a corrupt database as Boxslots went down, and this is my only copy =/

Do you want to make thumbnails? if so, why not use timthumb and get the first image in post? that way you'll get auto thumbnails for all the posts that have at least 1 image.

Why not use CSS to resize the images?just create/add this to your css post.content

image:max-height=650px;
image:max-width=500px;

the syntax might not be correct as i took from the top of my head.do some research on the syntax.

@Mintcold
Tried the plug-in. The plug-in did add more image size options, but I can't select any of them..

@sceneguy, CSS won't do because it not all images are the same size, I need them to keep their aspect ratio so I need the auto image resizer, and the watermark plug-in as well as it is Original content.

I'm thinking my database maybe corrupt. Anyone know how to duplicate all the posts, post date, comments etc over to a new wordpress database? Or any other solutions?

I appreciate all those that have tried to help me so far

I'm here to report back that IT WORKS!

Thank you to everyone that gave me suggestions and pointers on this!

The solution is to EXPORT all posts,content and data via Tools > Export setting in Admin panel.

Make a new wordpress installation in a subdirectory (i used http://mysite.com/temp) and install, afterwards log into the Admin panel of the new WP and go to Tools > Import and import your data.

Then installed plugin Search-and-Replace and in the search box enter in the name of your subdirectory, in my case "temp" and in the next box where it says Replace with , leave it blank then hit GO.

That will change the url in your new database from http://yoursite.com/temp to http://yoursite.com again.

After that is done, use that new database file for your original wordpress site that is corrupted. The downside is you have to resetup the settings for your plug-ins but it was worth it to me, everything is working again!
