Im tring to add my domain to my vps. My host said to:
1. Create "A" Record in namecheep
2. Create DNS Template in kloxo
3. Add domain in kloxo

But im not shore if its working.

The last vps i was on instead of creating a A record, i had to register new name servers with the ip address from my host, like mydomain.com then put that in the dns part.

Is a "A" Record all i need to do?

Im saying this because for sum reason i cant log into my ftp.

Thanks m8, so i dont need to create a A record?

Now, goto your domain registrar and get your nameservers registered.
I just follow this?

Registering your name servers:

  1. Login to namecheap.com
  2. Click on "Manage Domains"
  3. Click on the domain you wish to manage.
  4. Look on the left hand side, and you will see "Advanced Options"
  5. Click on "Nameserver Registration"
  6. Register the ns1/ns2 name servers (the IPs you need will be in your welcome email)
  7. Click "Add Nameserver"
  8. Done!
Changing the name servers:

  1. Click on "Transfer DNS to Web Host"
  2. Add the new newly created name servers
  3. Click "Save Changes"
  4. Done!

first register your own nameservers.
then add a dns template to your kloxo.
edit your domain nameservers to point your new nameservers ;)

PM me if you need any more help.

Easy step!

Hello, I think this isn't hard as many people think. You must creat DNS template, remember don't make it with name "default" so they can be hidden on kloxo.

After creating DNS template, you must point child nameserver to your vps's ip.

This is two way and one note from me. Good luck.
