then 2 weeks ago i discovered 2 domains were bough on my namecheap account for 5 years and then he made some chargeback.

namecheap said i need to pay 480$ but god thnx they are super, they found that i am not guilty. but i had to pay 80$ for those 2 domains

what shall i do with those 2 .com domains? keep it? use it? as it was the hackers wanted domain

namecheap clearly are not that super, if they know you are not guilty, and you did not want the domains they should have just deleted and returned them to the pool.

Also it probably was not the hacker who made the chargeback, it was probably the innocent person whos credit card they used.

If you do know who hacked your account you should post proof and their name to stop people here getting scammed as they are clearly involved in carding and fraud.

It could be anybody. However, the story may be a false story. Therefore, I think personally that there should be some evidence in the post.

He is referring to anyone on WJunction with such a title and such a post.

What is the name of the domains? Perhaps the hacker was stupid enough to post their "new" domain on WJ or another forum. Easier to track him if we know the domains.

I think guy just told a story, and his toughts, and asked this:

so, everything comes to that
But, would be good to know his name, if he's member of WJ, and also, some proofs.
@ OP Other than that, it doesn't looks good to just mention how scammer is on WJ, while no one can do anything about that...

i think if you come here and say someone at WJ hacked your servers and you are left over having to pay for some domains and you want help or you want to know what to do with them, you should show some good proof/evidence that this happened, otherwise how r we supposed to know it really happened? and how do you know it was someone here?

but on topic if you don't want the domains just sell them aye? if there any good.

i forgot the domain name my sites were redirecting to, if i can remember that, i am sure more people here got hacked my him. it was a popular forum and has like 400 users online etc

also i am not pointing to anyone here right

He probably telling that story to gain attention so people would answer his question.

I think you should take your domains, and shove em.

If you didn't pay the $80 for the domain names as they were bought, they would have been returned to the pool, unless it's after 7 Days.

For example, If you buy a domain from NameCheap and accidently, mis-spelled it and you open a ticket and ask them to correct, they can delete that domain and you can register the proper domain within 7 day time frame. If it was after 7 days and was bought with a stolen credit/debit card than most likely the domains will be transfered into NameCheap's, Fraud account and be held for the duration of it was registered.

I think he created another thread on here regarding this, It could be an easy fabrication to get some attention or can easily be the truth, but without him providing some sort of proof to whom it was, we can't point fingers to anyone and state there is 'Hacker on WJ' because people who exploit you - or in this case someone got your password from other means...including a possible key logger.

Before, Jumping to any conclusions, I suggest you use that handy 'Search Feature' up there and search for, anti virus or pc cleanup, cause this has been a topic on here many times - after it's done scanning, take a screenshot - let us see those results. (Remember to use the slide tag)

Well, if you were hacked then I can only say that you didn't give your PC/Server enough protection. That's it. You cannot blame anyone. It's your mistake and you need to learn from your mistakes.

Try looking at status of that domain, I mean popularity.
If they do have some good traffic, just buy it & sell it for the same price.

Whts the domain names btw ?
