No no, you got me wrong. Of course what you said is completely true. Duplicate content should always be avoided.
But the main point of my post is avoiding mistakes we commit unintentionally. When we put copied content, we always know that we are copying which is not right. But see the five points I wrote about, they are mistakes we commit without knowing its black hat.
Otherwise, what you wrote, I agree with it :)

Hi, I'm currently using Yoast SEO plugin for wordpress and was wondering if i'm doing it right. First it ask me Focus Keyword: usually it's only a few words, then is ask me "SEO Title:" I use the Generate SEO title for that. Then in the meta description i put the title of my posts. Is that called black hat seo?Just to be clear i'm not stuffing my post with keywords, just mostly the title of my post.
 
Well he mentioned about duplicate content so I was giving example that there is a site needforporn they post content on their own site as well as on another site so if dupe content really punishes why would they do this to themself

i never believe any script good for seo because Google never allow you to do any thing with any Script because if you use script than Google take action and Google think its black hat seo so plz avoid such script and always do Seo manual and i really like this topic for discussing matters why google Ban and Sandbox and penalized Specially Google Target Warez websites most. Sorry for my bad english
