Why do you care about year of the movie? I hate when people say: "I want a movie that has been released after 2xxx". Year isn't so important as the script and whole concept of the movie is important. Most of those after 2005 movies are kinda, 'for teenagers' full of sex and shit.

Better go for some family comedy, or something from Kevin Smith like Dogma, Jay and silent Bob, some junkie comedy like Spun, Fear and loathing in Las Vegas, some oldie comedy maybe. Or even some black comedy from Matthew Bright like Modern Vampires.

Never judge a movie by its name, release year, or cover.
