Why would it be better? Explain. My idea is better than a GFX team, I think. Its like a sales site / portfolio. Those features wouldn't be available to members here, only threads - not a personal page dedicated to there work only and sales. They can post up stuff with a price underneath and as I said a button for buy will be added for vouched members, I think this sounds cool :D

Won't help anymore than the " Trustest Webmaster " rank does.

Half of them cannot be trusted, and are being removed for doing some dodgy deals/hacking/scamming etc.

So, it's own site will be better and ran by profit who will have more say and can actually do something about it when someone goes over the top.
 
Cool, but thats not for WJunction. I wanted to make this a community site (for WJunction members and people who use this site) Its like a GFX team on a whole different site.
 
Sure, you can say that. I never knew a site like that (well kinda as I explained it) existed. I was just sitting here thinking of a few neat sites to make.
 
Bad idea IMHO, but maybe WJ should add a GFX section for all us designers here, we can reply to requests/do freelance work here.
 
there are already freelance gfx websites available where gfx'ers can submit their gfx work and show them in a portfolio/gallery and people can hire them if they like their work...

however, if im not mistaken, what you want to do is make a website to show gfx'ers portfilio's and designs, but designed just for warez users/webmasters. (who dont have an awful lot of money to spend of gfx that they could probably get dont for free on a general GFX forum)

also, what im saying is why not have a GFX section on WJ instead? it solves your problem in half the time and effort, as long as the WJ admins agree.
 
Trusted Designers FTW, but you could make a site more in depth about it :) would be cool, i was thinking of creating a freelance site just don't know PHP :P
 
I just thought this was an interesting idea. I would love to own a site like this which people used but I guess more people want a GFX Rank so this can be closed. :)

J/K, but your idea is near identical to what was the original plan for my site, but for coding instead of GFX. I guess I got off track with that. It's still a nice idea and worth giving it a go.
