as i said , only thing we can do is wait for an answer . i will go to sleep now , and hope when i woke up everything will be ok , and nothing will be lost , exept this time furing the downtime :D but as they say , for every 2 minutes down , there is 1 day credit . for me it is better there is none 1 minute down , but if there is , some credit will maybe cover that lost !

Sorry for all this, The Atlanta Server had a HDD faliure due to bad sectors on the HDD, But no need to worry, as we take daily backups of that server, it is being restored, the new HDD will be a faster one (as it's newer)

The datacenter have started the process of taking the backups from the backup server and restoring it to this server.

The IP will not change, nor will your username or passwords.

Please Don't worry, We will always let the client know whats happening and also We use R1Soft Backups which make backups automatically everyday of each and every account.

It will surely get resolved.
 
For now this is the best hosting on wjunction!, in 3 months the only downtime was yesterday and it wasn't a problem of gearserve just a failure on the hdd (out of their control).

A fast responde to the problem via ticket + email which for me is great to know that if something happens in the future i don't need to contact them to know what's happening.

I will go for a year with you guys, great support!!

i agree ! i said that also several times in previous posts !!! AND , we don't know has HDD caused problem or something else ;)

i am not mate , in my case , they don't need to add more days , but if you write it , do it ;) someone could only choose this host because of that fact , and not some else host . don't lie ppl . as i said , they don't need to add me credit days , but also , that fact should be removed if they don't reallt mean it !;)

Just a update, We have a new CEO at GearServe, Ken.

Our old CEO, is now a part of our tech department, and he will look into all the tech aspects of GearServe.

Again, Sorry for the downtime guys, But it is good that we have a new HDD, as we will surely get better speeds on the new HDD.

@Dekstr : It was a HDD problem, as the HDD had many bad sectors, we had to ask the DC to replace it, and we also got the 2nd drive replaced at the same time.
