If you can afford, add a 120GB SSD to the build. You will see superior performance when OS and game run from the SSD. You can use 1TB disk for storing your personal files and backups.

why not go for a HD7870 or GTX 660Ti ..and going for a X79 mother board is just wasting money .. just get a decent z77 board around $200 and save the extra money for a better graphics card and get a 16GB RAM from that money ..
