If yes then there must be a World News section too..

This is a webmaster hangout forum not an entertaining forum.

The section already says :

General Discussion=
Everyday general, off-topic banter.

Which means you can talk/discuss about any thing apart from website related things.

Anyways this type of thread was already created earlier too.

This is a webmaster forum and that is why funny threads are inside General Discussion board, now you wont post something like that in market sections, will you?
