Good to know that today I noticed a drop in download count by half.
 
The reason for the cycle is that they earn money for free. They may make one last profit and close the site.
Or maybe they want to force you to sign up for a paid membership.
They can escape at any time. I've seen many sites like this over the years. I don't think there is another reason why the error cannot be fixed.
