Free VPN vs Tor which one is better?

Some days ago I was just giving a try to a :facepalm: vpn & was totaly disappointed with their service. Then I switched back to Tor browser bundle for anonymity >.> . Now WJ members & experienced members please suggest me which one is better for anonymity purpose.

As the OP needs suggestion between the free available option so my vote is for TOR otherwise you should have purchased your own VPS and turn that into VPN.
