You have to work at it.

People stop shouting at him! He said it was his 1st work. For 1st work it is REALLY nice. Okay, go and think, what was your 1st photoshop work? probably a shit looking text on a background with some random images.
Give him suggestions if u want to but atleast do not shout at him.Motivate the kid.
