about the tracker I have to agree with Whoo... I honestly think you have no chance in competiting, with all the elite trackers that are out there. you think it will be easy getting the torrent community to use your tracker when there are tons of better ones out there with much better release times. It's not that Im saying its impossible.. but I think you might be underestimating the whole thing a bit.

However, we wud all like to c how it turns out Origin... I have been hearing too many things about you but lets see, how you can bring one zombie site back to life...
 
It isn't about just getting the Torrent Community to use my Tracker. It is about bringing members from the Torrent scene into our scene. Whether it be by Google, or an Advert in the Torrent Community, or any other means.

Put it this way...

Someone who uses Torrents, also likes to download occasionally for whatever the reason, perhaps they are a multi-tasker. So they have a separate site that they go to. Then you have someone else who also uses Torrents, but they also like to watch Streaming Movies and TV Shows instead of waiting for it to download. So they have a separate site they go to. Or let's just say you have the person that likes to do all of these things, that person has multiple sites that they search through to find their content.

Then they come to USAWarez. It has the Streaming they Stream, it has the Downloads they Download, and it has the Torrents they Torrent. You mean to tell me that with all of this content it wont pay off and attract new visitors in the multitudes?

I think it will...

Just because few people choose to do something compared to the 99% that keep going in the other direction, or because something seems so hard to achieve, such as; a zombie site (not sure why you are referring to USAWarez.com as a zombie site, but none the less) doesn't mean it can't succeed. In fact I am a firm believer that it will over-succeed.

Adding more content to a site can never ever hurt. Especially when very few are doing it in the way that I am doing it. With that being said, I think my odds for success are much greater in my favor.

I think I didn't put out the words rite. The site's been inactive for a long time, that's what i meant when I said a zombie site, and you are trying to bring it back and it will be tough. Although, I see a lot of the original members already came back.. ^^
I wish you good luck with your project and site. Maybe, the webmasters here would be inspired on torrents more, when they see USAWarez suceed. :)

well it was removed because the owner is making his own torrent tracker which will be bigger than ptp and what.cd.

you will find that torrent trackers only work if you have a very large number of members, which t-warez did not have at the time. this is not a problem for your forum as you have more than enough members for it to run well..


another thing with torrents vs warez - warez users tend only to leech so keep in mind you may have to fork out for some seedboxes. xD
 
We are not using VBitty. The tracker we are running is an older more modified version that I have had two coders working on for some time now. There is still installations that we are doing, so it may be a few days before all of the features are actually visible.

We will also be getting at least 1 seedbox within the upcomming week.

@ Phpmybittorrent.com does not appear to be in this scene xD.
 
Thanks. The Torrent Tracker is still in the placement stage. It is functional at the current point in time, however, there are going to be new additions displayed for the next few days. It is an extensive modification that requires precise coding (many many sites have failed in their attempt at incorporating a Torrent Tracker), so we are being as careful as possible and taking our time.

And yes the site is 10 years old :D, but it has only been online altogether for 6 on and off.
