Find solid program transfer files remotely?

Hi
Looking for solid/good/easy program that can remote files from 1 compuer to another, something like "WiPeer" but without LAN/Wifi..Cant use http, maybe ftp?
Can I use filezilla server on computer A and on computer B filezilla client and transfer files like that? yes/no? thanks for anybody who helps..
