Would I be right in thinking that for that for the last few hours of the 10th & all of today that we weren't getting the amount per download we should have been getting.Because my average per download is always in the same general range but the last few hours of the 10th my average started dropping & so far today it was a good 25% lower than normal and was getting lower by the hour.But In the short time since the site came back after being offline for a minute,my average has started going back up.

I am right aren't I? There was something wrong?

Are you sure , people downloading your files?

Becoz I can see the traffic remains constant.

Not my average number of downloads.The overall average of money per download.

And yes,I'm positive.I keep track of my average per download by dividing the money for the day by the number of downloads for the day to that point.It's just something I do to see if I'm hitting my goals for the day & if something isn't right I can spot the problem faster.

There was nothing different than normal file size wise.On the 10th for example.Without doing anything the last few hundred downloads on the 10th lowered my average per download down by .0003 from what it was for the first 21 hours of the day.It takes a big drop for that to happen.Like I said,for today my per download average was 25% lower than the lowest average per download day I've had to this point with you.I started running the numbers every 20 minutes or so & the average kept getting lower and lower.Then the site was offline for like a minute and after it was back up I could see the difference without even doing the math.It was that obvious.As of right now,the per download average has risen by .0007 & if I only do the numbers from when the site came back up to now,the average is right where it is normally.

Just to make sure you know what I'm saying,here is what I mean by total average per download.Lets say I look at the stats page & I have a total of 875 downloads so far for the day & a money total of $4.28. I divide the $4.28 by 875.That comes out to .00489 per download after rounding it off.
Lets say the lowest average per download I've ever had with you at the end of a day was .0042.I said my average was 25% less than the lowest average I've ever had would mean my average was .00315. Those aren't my actual numbers but the percentages are the same.Do you see why I said we weren't getting the correct amount per download.It was like we were getting tier 3 & tier 4 money for all the downloads.
The problem went away when the site came back because the average per download took a sharp turn up after that.

So if you didn't know there was a problem,we got lucky and it corrected itself.So you might want to keep an eye on that.

Someone please tell me you understood that because I know I'm horrible at explaining things like that to people..

Well I dont know why there is a problem in that. But today I got the files table crashed. So I repaired it and then find out some number mismatched and then it got correct as soon i made a auto repair.

So I think files table crash is the problem of that. Now dont worry everything has fixed.

Any real news please about new payment methods for buying premium accounts. Wbmoney, okpay , cashU ... etc ?

Making sales through resellers is wasting of money for the uploader ( who are on pps plan), and I think for you too.
 
Previously it was 500kbps now its 1200-4000 kbps. so fileom still keeping me wait :o
also running out of space, so many downloads but hasn't got a single sale. we are not having good time fileom but I'm still fighting :)

You will get sale soon, if you have mirrors avoid that and upload more , Sales will flow continously.

ive had over 300 downloads one ref signed up but no premium sales neally at 400 downloads from this eveing

total downloads 408 downloads 16p from ref hope people will buy premium accounts soon

not many people like resellers cause of the fees they charge

well a wile back on rg i got low as 10 downloads and got a premium sale were i post maybe people dont trust fileom enough i dunno

or im shareing stuff whats already been reuploaded

Reupload works wont get sales as there are lots of people mirroring the same posting. And people have no reason as they have already find the file posted by another user.

Well FileOM is already popular and making enough sales. So you should post new content or rare stuff or multipart stuff.
 
Doesn't always have to be uber rare stuff - just find a niche that isn't so well served and dedicate some time to serving it as best you can.

People will appreciate this in the long run and come to trust you for whatever it is you provide.
