Hi,

Just gathering a few ideas for a upcoming project and i just wanted to know what a few of you guys think about the following affiliate plans for a filehost, I'm looking for feedback from active affiliates on other filehosts only please.

Affiliate Plans:

*No tier system, all countries (except China, Hong Kong, Vietnam) counted, no filesize tiers. Free users Only, 1 IP counted per 12 hours per account. Minimum filesize is 5MB.

**Point system is based only on premium user downloads, 1 IP counted per 12 hours per account. Minimum filesize is 5MB. 3000 points - extend account by 30 days, 4500 points - create a 30 day account.

Free User Restrictions:

Speed limited at 150KB/s
1 Simultaneous download at a time
30 Seconds waiting before download start
5 minute waiting between downloads after 5 downloads (per 24 hour period 00:00 - 23:59)
15 minute waiting between downloads after 10 downloads (per 24 hour period 00:00 - 23:59)
30 minute waiting between downloads after 15 downloads (per 24 hour period 00:00 - 23:59)

Account Info:

Payout:

1st - 15th Payed on the 1st of the next month
16th - 31st Payed on the 16th of the next month
(Option to have automatic payouts or manual request payouts)
(Minimum Payout amount is $10.)

Payment Methods:
PayPal, Payza, Webmoney & Cheque (Minimum $25 payout)

Support Systems:
Support Tickets (All Affiliates)
Forums (Minimum $20 earnings required to access)

DMCA:
Copyrighted files will be removed immediately from affiliate accounts once reported.

Good, now speak about free user download, about limitations, about storage gb, days after files will be deleted, wont work dude.
 
Good update but you need to keep 150kb always and on any hour, also dont forget to mention about 1 Gb (total traffic) limit per free user on 24 h, dont forget about files over 400 mb must be premium for download, dont forget about count completed or noncompleted downloads? 2 downloads/ per ip on 24 is ok, but you should make 2 per 24 h on any time, I download 2 files in the same h to be counted 2 but only 2 in that day.
Dont forget about Only premium users can receive money from downloads, also dont forget to give a good support a good script, good and power servers, also Put good ads to have profit and no paypal/payza on buy premium.
If this will be done, I will join in a website like this.

150KB/s will always be the max for free users.

Unfortunately the daily traffic cap is not something that would be considered.

Files over a certain amount might be made premium-only but this would be optional through user a control panel.

Only completed downloads would be counted but both will be shown in the stats.

Unfortunately the max is 1 IP per 12 hour period, it was originally 1 per 24 hour.

Forcing users to purchase a premium account to earn money would not be in our best interests.

Paypal & Payza payments (in) will most probably be done through a payment system like 2checkout or similar.

I realize that my sign up date is the 13th Sep 2012 but i have no affiliation with any filehost and this is no hit and run attempt.
 
You should say 150kb/s will be always, I know the max is 150kb/s but the min what should be? 30 kb/s? The min Must be 120kb/s on any h and the max 150, thats sound great isnt it?
Also limitation over 400-500 mb gets more premium

Not really, users are uploaders, uploaders, want to earn money? good, upload make downloads, from downloads convert points in 30 days premium, after that request payment, with this Pay to be paid, pay 10$ to receive 100 (is an example) you kick off all beginers, all kids who upload with non profit, and you earn from lets say 1000 good affiliates 1000 X 10 = 10k $ good no? with that money you can keep the site working.
Dont forget about good ads, fine some until you make filehost
You need a man who support you here and have time to resolve problems and answer here and Pms from people.
You need a good script and power servers (Nl servers are very good) .

change the Cheque into Bank wire
because Cheque take time for clearance.
Please increase rate of PPS
otherwise your plans are perfect of PPD
please use the script like filesonic & rapidgator
XFS is not good for uploader & download

Unfortunately the daily traffic cap is not something that would be considered.

You should, because your servers will be overloaded, limiting poor country by slots, is only for lucky people who get first download and others cant download, never !
1 Gb per free user/free acount (ip) is perfect to stop servers overloaded and can keep 150kb/s on all servers etc.

Free User Restrictions:


30 seconds first download
1 minute, second download
10 minutes 3th download
20 minutes 4th download
30 minutes 5th download
40 minutes 6th download
50 minutes 7th download
60 minutes 8th download
60 minutes 9th download
60 minutes 10th download
Premium required for 11th download

After first download was completed another download begin over 1 minutes
This time is a real time and not time waiting on download page.
If I download 2 files, and over 10 minutes I want to download another it mean 3th file on my ip I must wait 30 seconds .

Dont put 90 days after last download, you will cant do this over 3 months, make some rules that will be fixed by now, to not change them like all others has done. Put 30 days is better or max 60 days.

make it 8$ 1000 Downloads and your host will be king in the web :) but please dont make or bug freezing counts.pay on time all payments.add bank Wire (Cheque is not good for uploaders) . Min $15 payout

- 8$ 1000 Download
- Good counts
- Pay on time money
- Add Bank Wire
- Min 15$ payout
 
When you figure out your business plan come back and post a official thread.


I suggest you read the rules about topics being generally appealing and not targeting a specific group.

Being you want to exclude people and comments.
