well i just got email from FileFat (few seconds ago) and i was reading it came to know a new shitty rule read this

lol? Another setting we have is to protect us from paying you guys too much, is when we delete a file of yours due to DMCA, or because it is earning too much... you will lose all earnings from this file from your current balance.

At least they don't hide they're trying to wring as much money as possible from people. To an extent, I don't think you can argue about the DMCA thing. Then again, they're probably keeping any earnings from it... From you and the rightful owner.

Just a moral blender, really. Lol.

CyberAff, you're supposed to be happy as they cleared it up for you. There are thousands of paying file-host. You can shift to the one that fits you! :P

* The same system is applied at uploadstore.net as well.

I don't get it - why would you tell your users that stuff... I mean surely that is like shooting yourself in the foot before you start to walk...

Sorry about that folks we had an intrusion into our system, it a silly prank by someone. We are fixing the security issues.

Anyways let me set the record straight, we do not delete funds if your file was deleted due to DMCA.
Regarding IP count, yes we do restrict same IP downloads and we have said on our official tread.

We are doing the best to provide the best affiliate program online but guess some people don’t have better things to do than to disrupt other people’s business.
 
now we got that in mail...

I would like to clear some things up, we have now changed the setting that makes it so that your money is removed if we delete a file of yours, because we were exposed by the "hacker" - we are keeping the $0.4/day rule though.

I Think U Should Be More Patient concerning any new decisions
As this may be very harmful
The filehost is just a reputation
For example
x7.to
now pays for some affliates
but before that it was scam
so what ever they do , they will not be trusted again
From the beginning U can lower your rates
But don't offer high rates to attract uploaders and then cheat them
by taking their money that they earn according your rules
So Plz Be more patient

I am aware you've all received emails, firstly let me apologies for it, we had an intrusion and are the moment fixing the security breach.
We have a very good idea who did it, guess they see us as a threat. Why any company would see us as a threat is rather funny because we are new and cannot possibly pose a threat to any other file hosting company.
Anyways, it's egg on our faces as we should have resolved security issues, before going live. Learned our lesson there, really sorry about this folks, to say we are embarrassed is an understatement.
Here’s setting the record straight:

1. We do not delete funds if your file was deleted due to DMCA.
2. Regarding IP count, yes we do restrict same IP downloads and we have said that on our official tread.


We are currently working on the security breach and would keep you posted.

Nice to see a filehost admitting to there mistakes instead of trying to cover them up :)
 
Sounds kind of strange that a person who broke in would send such an email though? But, even if it's back peddling then so be it lol.

"Fat guys with the money" made me laugh.
 
lol. the "We can delete the files if they are earning too much" that sounded harshh..

and im not buying it that someone broke into the system. you are probably just ashamed this was brought into the public and your getting exposed for the shitty rule
 
@ elight, it's quite a serious issue, but I'm glad you see the funny side of it. :-)
Anyway, the breach is being taken serioulsy at our end and we will update our partners soon. Please bear with us, as you can see, there are others out there, who see us as a threat and would do everything possible to tarnisg our reputation. Don't be surprised when you see others raising their prices to meet our standards.

@bxflow, come on mate, why would we be interested in sending out such a mail. Number 1, obviously is a lie and Nmuber 2 has ben stated in our Official thread. I am sure you aware of this industry and what people are capable of doing. We have admitted our error, I believe we will be more vigilant, next time around.
