People take life, it was always like that. We can't do shit about it, you think that plants aren't alive? That eating them is ok, but eating animals isn't? Just lol.

And yeah, ever since I finished with the high school, I don't eat junk food, just normal food.

Plants and fruits are their to be eaten. Yes, they respond to stimuli, but that doesn't mean that they are like us and feel pain. We MUST eat living things to live, so I would rather eat something that is not going to suffer.

We can't know that for sure. We just like to think that it won't hurt them. Everything that's alive is meant to be eaten by someone or "something".
