Facebook App question

I see a lot of Facebook apps like one-india,9gag,ndtv.. Where the app displays the recently published posts in its, and when a users clicks it, it redirects him to their article, and automatically a status published in their wall that they read so and so article..... Also recently fb displays the trending articles.. how do they create it.. Any predefined way to that ?

thr are wordpress plugin for that or else you can code yourself seeing examples

I Think They Use RSS Feeds or some sort of plugins to fetch the data and redirect it Well thats the only good explanation i can come up with

^ naa not really. They actually make use of plugin which is attached with publish_post or some hook. So once someone post on thr site it automatically gets posted on fb.
