Anyone using Windows VPS for Video Encoding ? As far as I know most of the encoding/converter app purely depends on CPU + RAM + And a Decent Disk speed.
Whats WJ users opinion abt encoding on a Windows VPS with following specs

1-2 Core Dedicated CPU share
1-2GB RAM
Windows 2008 Std

Which app is best for encoding according to your opinion.
I know most of the guyz go behind RDPs , but most of the deals not provide Admin access and we need to keep opening tickets for each and every need. Thats why I am popping this question

depending on your encoding, I don't think those specs will cut it. Best bet would be to just purchase a encoding RDP instead of a VPS. Encoding takes up both CPU and memory resources, so 1-2gb VPS will probably not cut it. BTW theres some encodign RDP that will give you 24hrs admin access to install all your codecs and software
