It doesn't need to mean a shit. I listen to every kind of music.

And I love music from '60s,'70s,'80s,'90s. Genre is not important. Those who shit about other genre are mostly kids who listened to few newer emo bands like Tokio Hotel, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, etc. Those gay bands, which can't be compared to legendary bands like Slayer,Sepultura,Iron Maiden,Lynyrd Skynyrd,Metallica,The Cult, Guns n Roses, Black Sabbath,etc..

They can't know about the other genre, because they heard from their friends that rap music sucks. Argh...

Shinedown is great band, they got good songs. mmm. Flogging Molly? Snow Patrol? they also got few good songs...

Shit, I'm outdated. Didn't listened to newer music much.
 
I remember back when I was (much) younger. We all listened to his music without really understanding his lyrics, however now we've grown, and we now listen to him because a lot of his lyrics we can relate to ourselves.
He's nothing but a great rapper. He's grown older himself, and we can hear that in his lyrics and melodies. 99% of his newer songs aren't really "Superman" anymore :).
