Email forwarding with Webmin's Postfix Mail Server

I'm trying to forward an email, which I assumed that was what "Mail Aliases" was for. However, it keeps giving me an error message:

Failed to save alias : 'abc@gmail.com' is not a valid address

I want to forward "contact@MyDomain.com" to "abc@GMail.com"

How can I do this with Webmin?

Here what I tired:

# nano /etc/postfix/main.cf

virtual_alias_domains = cyberciti.com
virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual

# nano /etc/postfix/virtual

me@mydomain.com me@gmail.com

# postmap /etc/postfix/virtual
# service postfix reload

I'm I missing something here?

I had sent a test email, but nothing came through, I didn't even get a bounce email either.
What am I doing wrong?
