I think as a site it's very old content wise. I've used it a few times in the past but it just doesn't update enough and a lot of it's content is dated as a result. New scripts and amazing plugins, ideas and code are released daily. Take for example some of the stuff happening on jquery. It's fresh, unique and exciting. Stuff on DynamicDrive does work but it's basic and boring. Even look at the page MrSandvik linked too. Just two updates in 2011 and only 4 updates in the last 6 months. 4 in 6 months is just terrible.
