Dumb question about Hotfile.com

ok, with hotfile.com, we can remote upload files from RS:

Where username:password are your password to your RapidShare account
but, is there a risk ? logins are logged ?

well you see.....

rapidshare is a file sharing service

lol no but seriously man the fbi moniter all incoming traffic on RS that has that format

and any logins will be caught by the fbi's login catcher and then they have a script that scans your rs account and if it detects warez the fbi will bust you

I dunno if logins are logged, but netload, filefactory.. all them use the same method to remote files
 
the fbi DO log all the username and passwords and one day they will kill all the accounts and it will break every link to warez that is on the net... then they will arrest every warez uploader

the question is WHEN will they do it
 
ya but they can also tell the WWWLEAT all the details of the ppl that upload warez, and THEY will bust ppl outside of the US

i think ur being paranoid JointRolla....

abt the remote uploading-> its quite safe. i mean there r thousands of members in hotfile who remote upload....since no one else reported a problem i dont think hotfile will cause any in the near future. besides i think i read somewhere in WJ that rs has stopped allowing the username:pass format of links to prevent remoteuploading from rs......:S

Dont get me wrong but,

Don't scare people :P
First of all, rapidshare is not 1 and only file hosting service, even they kill all (which is nonsense) we still got FTPs and a lot of other ways to share warez.
Secondly, they can't arrest every warez uploader, not even in Disneyland..


So if you see it in real, there is no "when" question because they won't do it.
 
its not the FBI, its the RIAA bitches thats the problem. they have absolutely nuthing to do but make lawsuits after lawsuits each month. but anywayz... dumb question indeed (y)
 
lol i think joint was just messing with the guy, but to answer your question...it is safe and i have used it lots of times in the past ;)
