No. Originally it was a filehost site and they went to streaming and back to filehost + streaming. By the way, the speed is good for downloaders. At least when I used to upload to their host back then with no rewards. I maxed out 900kbps on my home line. On a 100mbit line, I maxed out 9MB/sec.

Don't know what's the download speed now though.

EDIT:

I actually went to test their download speed and they got even better! Bear in mind I'm a free user. I know for a fact that I got a lot of downlaods from Duckload from visitors. They weren't that popular last time. Also they support resume! In addition to that, their FILE MANAGER is really sophisticated. I don't care whether they pay or not but I'm VERY impressed.

seems like a nice system - low pay rates but I suppose no tiers...
and you do have the potential to earn $45/1000 downloads... on big files yes but loads post single links to megashares that are like 6GB so... why not here and earn a lot more...
