hello guys, you all are aware of reverse proxy..

Normal proxy:

Reverse proxy:

Reverse proxy server in one country, and
web server in another country..

with reverse proxy we need to buy bandwidth for two servers (our webserver + our reverse proxy server)

my question is,
why guys are not hosting their site directly in reverse proxy server (country or Datacenter), so only one server is enough...

but instead of that, guys prefer webserver in one country and reverse proxy serveer in another country..

Any valuable reason...???

this is possible..?

You can host your site in a high quality and trusted data center while any complaints arrive at the data center which hosts the proxy.

About the costs, an example: Rent a server at LeaseWeb (probably the best hoster in Europe with low prices) and a VPS as proxy in Russia - it will be cheaper than getting both in Russia.

Basically when a reverse proxy server is deployed, only URLs that are associated with the reverse proxy server are made public to web browser users. Users from the Internet use these URLs to access the reverse proxy server. The reverse proxy server handles these requests from Internet users and redirects these requests to the appropriate internal HTTP server. As far as its use its concern , i seen many users using cheap OVH Onshore Dedicated Servers and use proxy to host their offshore sites ; it although good to save some money .
