Donkiehost is scam

I've never seen people so quick to throw the word "scam" around like Wjunction when they dont get their way lmao.

I've never had a problem with DK and have terminate my service with them once before for different reason. Also use google translate to translate the TOS even though there is a English translate button at the bottom of the page lol.

Either way learn form your mistakes,Stop subscribing your paypal and just do checkout

@ kuyo. Have you evre tried to do that while purchasing?? select the terms and conditions and it will come up in spanish only. You have to go to google translator manually to translate all terms and conditions.

And just try once to translate these Spanish words, you can find many funny words in English. Also learn to read properly. I said I have never subscribed it. Ha...

It`s not about TOS.

Suppose GoDaddy terminate your domain cz you didnt wrote correct info.
How does that feels ?

TOS are there for protection, but reliability should be provided to maintain reputation.
If they care even a bit, they would have refunded & have PMed mod to close this thread or could have explained them self...
This isnt fair.

They did what they have to, not something they should do.

@IlluSion: you can not say that a company is scam without having thoroughly investigated.

Let me give you an example:

I buy a dedicated server in X company, I do not read the terms because they are not in my language and the translator did not help me.
I use the server for 1 month, but then I decide do not renew.
I do not request the cancellation nor I contact to the company to give a good excuse for cancellation.

You think my invoice will be removed? No! remains active and perhaps is added a fee each day for late.

Well, after 2 months I pay the invoice but obviously my server will have already been canceled. (or you know any company that maintains active service for 2 months without receiving payment?)

Then I contact to the company to see what happens now, and they tell me that the server was canceled and I have to order a new one.
But what about the payment that I made? in a way I lose it and it's my fault for do not requesting cancellation and I can not open a dispute because I have not even read the terms of use.
And what if I had not made the payment? simple, it would not be able to buy a server anymore in this company.


Now, you said that when you purchased the service there was no terms of use or was in English but disappeared after 1 month?

If this is the case, you should contact donkiehost, explain this situation and provide evidence that this happened
I think they will understand your complaint and make a refund because in that case would be a fault of donkiehost.

@darkra - Examples are many. I have numerous examples where I made a payment after 4 months and my services became active after request. Donkiehost is a real scam for charging cancellation fees. No RL hosting charges that. And it's a joke to say that if I dont cancel the service, I wouldn't be able to buy the service again. I have bought and used it without paying the cancellation fee. If you aren't a representative for Donkie (The Scamer Host) then GTFO. I am handling it in my way.

Well, I think people love to use the word scam, and demoralize a service unnecessarily. I believe that communication was lacking in this case for a better explanation. I have used the services of Donkiehost, and their services in terms of quality, are among regular and good, but something that really impressed me with them was the support that is something to be highlighted, taking into consideration that the company is so great, they have an excellent support service.
