Domain transfer help

I've transfer my godaddy domain to namecheap. but namecheap won't show my domain in the domain list.

I can see this message under Transfers in Progress

Transfer in progress is awaiting release from current registrar. No actions required, please allow up to 5 days for the transfer to complete.

It will really takes +5days ? or just few more hours ?

This is first time i ever transfer a domain :D so please share your experience.

just wait til 5 days, it will be transferred

but on some registrars this can be done in less than 24 hour

just wait, im transfer from (not remember) to godaddy took 4 days

i thought it's like nameservers change, they say more than 48 hours takes for it but it's working in less than 5 min.. it seems domain transfer not like that.

actually it can be less than 5 days, but depends on the registrar
some registrars (like internetbs) will send a final notification via email, there you can find a link to confirm the transfer instantly without waiting for 5 days to complete

Its godaddy being slow, namecheap need to wait for them to release the domain, godaddy suck at everything so expect to wait for the longest time possible.
