Does OVH Allow Warez Linking ?

my365host uses them for their hosting services - I don't think he has any problems - or not any I have heard about.

And I think openVservers use them as well - but im not sure about that one.

OVH do not allow warezlinking, altho alot of prople use there servers for that purpose.If they find such material on the svr they will suspend your account for shure.

no we do not use ovh, nor does openvservers.
Go do your research again, and stop talking about my company.
I'm getting sick of you bringing me into everything.

yeah..

but ovh is in many places: germany, poland, uk, nl (but all servers in france) - that's what i think.

Eg. what about poland or other country that ovh is and warez linking is not allowed.
Ovh simply sold you to police or somekind of shit.

Like file hosting (not exist anymore) odsiebie.com .. they had many dedi in ovh .. and ovh sold them st8 to police.
 
OVH allow warez linking and trackers, but if there is a complaint they ask to remove the site within 24hours.

Also something new with them, if they detect any proxy they suspend the server with some crappy automated script.
This happened to me & it took 27hours and 3 phone calls to get a responce from them...

Dont Buy OVH, i think laws are now restricting them to much.
 
If you use it for personal use only then they won't have a problem, but as Gav0 (^) said they WILL remove suspend your account if someone complains.

From what they said, people have been using there servers as proxys to illegally use stolen CC so proxys are not allowed.
 
I always made sure to delete the possibility for ovh to get in over ssh, they add a string in the keyring for all ovh kernels which allows them to login as root at any moment.
You are allowed to delete this, but you are not eligible for support anymore, but i never needed that anyway so its a nice way to block access to the server to prevent them from eavesdropping on what your doing.
 
I had removed there key & blocked there IP.

Some months later i had an email cache.ovh had logged in as root, There was nothing to hide on the server so didnt kick them out, but then 10 minutes later the server was suspended due to a proxy script.

I presume they have some automated script that logs in & scans /home from any proxy. It would seem there backdoor isnt just for monitoring now.

I removed there key again, and banned there IP again and when my invoice is due im moving DC mainly because there support SUCKS big time.
 
Support on Kimsufi servers is virtually non-existent, i used one of their storage servers (6TB) for a while with a premium contract and service and bandwidth was suddenly a lot better.
