Give the Boxslots team a break, and let them work on bringing everythig back to normal.

Appreciate the fact that they didnt keep any of us in dark, and actually gave the reason on what happened, via their support thread and by emails, unlike others who just "scammed" and ran away.

I so wish, the mods could close this topic -_-
 
The WHMCS is not the only bug on BoxSlots servers. I sent them an email before and they just ignored that, and most of WJ members laught about it.

I can say that 99% of all shared hosting clients are vulnerable not just BoxSlots but almost all hosting providers here.

Probably. If the whole company got wiped it can't be only WHMcs.

P.S It's from my WHMcs, a few hours ago or so

To those who are wondering, if you decode the above base64 it's an upload form that gets uploaded/saved as "red.php"
 
you guys should give Rick a break.....he is working very hard to fix it asap.

and please stop posting about asking refunds and spreading scam post on this thread. this will not help him fix the problem. he need concentration. Seriously the Scam/scammed word should be banned in wj...... it happened bcoz of whmcs, any hosting provider know that there is a recent security issue on 1st dec 2011, just check the whmcs official blog.

am requesting mod to close this thread, so no one can post the bull shits and let Rick concentrate on fixing the problem.

Mods can only post updates from Rick directly. or just follow him on twitter for updated about the progress.

I got the same thing 2 days ago. It came from the IP address of: 92.253.115.240

No refunds policy is fishy to be honest. It will just cause a mass chargeback and more issues.

and steal a few customers by not removing their signature,
All you hosts have no business in this thread, this ain't got anything

into this thread.

BoxSlots is bigger than all of you put together and they are better than you all...
 
I had failed logins from this IP address 92.253.71.171 a couple of days ago.

You could probably ban the whole range and it would not effect any customers.

This isn't BoxSlots sales thread. I never put my signature to other sales threads. Rickie did that in RapidSpeeds and KnowinServers SALES threads MULTIPLE times so please get your facts straght before talking non-sense. It's a SEPARATE thread and we are just discussing and helping each other.

Capitalized words are here for a reason, try to pay attantion before your next reply.

Please, do not troll other members, much experienced administrators will say that only guilty for @BoxSlots failure is @BoxSlots

After doing a search on the IP it come back to the following user http://www.wjunction.com/member.php?u=8180 - He/She has been banned forever.

I'm locking this thread before it gets out of hand.

i moved to trash because some of this isn't even true apparently and its unfair to leave it out there unless we're going to investigate. If anyone disagrees, you can restore it but I think there are enough similar thereads about this issue.
