digitalocean.com Review - DO NOT use them!

dear members I have to share this with you :

my bad experience with digitalocean

if you need to buy VPS to host your site so never use digitalocean

or your all sites will be at risk

my current business may destroyed because of them
dears my site now is offline because of them

they lie to me and told me that no problem with filesharing sites at our servers and they will forward any DMCA report to me

so I paid them the money for the server

then they just took my money

they sent me DMCA reports when my site start working

and we respond to them regularly and removed all links

and now they lock my account and shut down my servers and said :

locked due to DMCA reports

I told them that we have a deal and I always response very fast to DMCA reports

they just said : there are DMCA reports !!!!

it looks I am talking to bot not persons

I sent them ticket about that they ignored it first

then said don't duplicate ticket and wait .

wait what ? I dont know

and I joined them at offical IRC chat and talked about my problem the admin there called : kamal_ just banned me and wrote to me ( just die )

I asked them to give me the last backup for the site but they ignored that

I told them I might lose my business because of this

they just said : no problem your account is locked now !!!

so guys I really don't know what to do now when them

they really some cheaters and don't respect costumers

your data really not safe with them

since they also lock the account 2 weeks ago with no reason

then unlock it again after 2 days

so how any one can trust them after that

nirafile.com was growing too fast and provide very good service

but because of digitalocean it might closed if they don't give us the backup since the last backup I have no good to use now

So dears it is my advice hear NEVER TRUST AND USE digitalocean.com

I may lose my business because of them

I hope they read this post then show some some respect and give me my backups which is my right or unlock my account so I move the site to other server

so digitalocean.com cheaters and not trusted anymore

Ive had a host like this in the past, U simply cant do nothing about ure back ups, Just start from the beginning and go from there.

Just keep sending them emails, tickets ect untill they listen, Just say u need to have the back up to change servers.

Hosting such content is ALWAYS a risk, you need to learn to take regular backups dude! Grow up and move on.

So you're saying that a host cheated you because you were hosting a site with stolen content on it? I think the cheat here is you. Try posting this on WHT, lol. They'll laugh you out of the board.

Well you should have read their TOS and used them. And also , why don't you take the main server DB backup daily? It will be auto and take couple of minutes to do daily .

Consider this as lesson and move on.

This is the main reason why new file/image hosts are popping out daily with huge pay rates. In fact all these sites run on low cost servers and VPS without thinking about any data safety or future performance issues and other burdens.[/FONT]

Creating a thread at webhostingtalk.com always seems to get something done. I was once with a host who wouldn't give me back my $100.00 I paid them for the year after requesting a refund before the 30 days. They kept telling me that I wasn't eligible for a refund, but I requested it only 2 days after hosting with them.

I posted a thread at webhostingtalk.com about it and within 20 minutes I got an email saying they have processed my refund. I'm glad I got my money back. But it shouldn't have to come to posting a bad review to receive the refund or get better service.

Stay far away from USA-based hosting companies even if the server located somewhere else. It's all your fault.
I recommend Germany for such things.

Do not use digitalocean for DMca/COPYright possibility site, they are usa based office/company, feel free to use this forum member's service, contact them via chat and ask about what you need, I used this member's service for dedicated server, where they have good reputation here, its important to more close then select trusted hosting provider for your site..
