Different subdomains to different wordpress installs on 1 vps?

I'm wondering if this is practical or possible and how to do it if it is lol.

stuff.mydomain.com -> MYVPSIP/stuff (first WP installation)
work.mydomain.com -> MYVPSIP/work (second WP installation)

I don't think my VPS provider has their own name servers so atm I only have access to the namecheap services from which i bought my domain.

Yes, it is possible to install Wordpress on both the sub-domains. Create the required databases and just follow the standard wordpress installation for the subdomains as well.

Set "A" records for both the subdomains to point them to your server IP. The "A" record has to be added in the DNS zone file of the domain. If you are using namecheap name servers, you have to set the A record there.

I've set the subdomain and A Address to point to my vps IP. But even after waiting 30 minutes it doesn't resolve.

Whereas the URL Frame and URL Redirects work after a few minutes of waiting.
