Reverse Proxys like Cloudflare and the one I operate are generally good for evading DDOS attacks. Just be aware cloudflare will suspend you if the attack gets too bad.

Can someone please write here step by step how to install "mod_cloudflare"? I need step by step.
I have read this: https://www.cloudflare.com/resources-downloads (Apache module: mod_cloudflare) but it is not clear to me.

I connect via putty on my vps and I wrote this command:
apxs2 -a -i -c mod_cloudflare.c

and now I do not know what do I still?
(I want to install this mod to see the real IP addresses of users)

The first five steps should still apply, I just tested it myself on centos 5.6. Unless kloxo is different now today then when I had used it back then.

I need instructions. Here's an example:

How do I install a firewall against DDoS attacks? I have a panel Kloxo and Centos 5 OS.
Does someone can give me the steps via shell instalations.
Thanks
