I have sites that are submitting to my ddl site, now I have emailed all of them and told them to get listed they need to display and link our buttton, but none of them do it.

I don't want to blacklist sites because I don't really know if they are reading the emails.

What would you do?

Blacklist them. It is their responsibility to read their emails and add the sufficient information for an affiliation.

Once they are blacklisted I'm sure you will get flooded with emails to get whitelisted again :)
 
its becuse your probably listed on some auto submitter site, and webmasters using them dont add link back to those small sites, i use the auto submitters too and i dont add link back to them if they dont like it then just add me on blacklist, but most of them just accepts all submits.. lazy admins...
 
yes its listed on the auto submitter, but if I read that correctly you don't add a link back so you just accept the black list and then call them lazy if they accept them? Lazyness is not adding the link to the submitted sites, pay attention to the auto submitter and uncheck the boxes of the ones you don't have the link for its that easy.
 
i dont think i will uncheck them since some accept the downloads whitout linkback, i only give link back to sites that gives me nice traffic.
 
dl-warez, I don't understand how people can complain about other people being lazy when they are just as lazy, Do you realize that the more links out means more traffic?!
 
yea but sites like yours wont send more then like 1-2 users per day so its not making anyone to add your link to theyrs.
 
ahh so new sites get screwed, that right there is why new sites don't make it, nobody willing to put up a link because it doesn't benefit them at all.
