Database won't restore propertly Emergency!

Situation is next, i was messing around with some plugins and other stuff and managed to fuck up my wordpress blog, after that i deleted site compleatly from cpanel and database. Then i tried to restore using backup from yesterday, however whenever i restore database i get clean one i mean it says 0.00MB and when i open site i get option to create new blog... Tried with old backup which i used a week earlier to restore site successfuly and it gave same result so im sure its nothing wrong with my database or site. Does anyone know how can i fix this my site is down for quite a while now :S If you have any idea or suggestion please tell me im desperate.

i'm trying with backup wizard>restore option which worked fine for me last time i managed to f*** up site

yes i created user, gave priviledges all same as in config file and it doesn't give database error, however when i open site i see page for creating new wordpress site :/

@bxflow Thanks man, i just created database with same name user and pass and imported old one into it using phpmyadmin and it worked with old backup, gonna try with new one now hopefully it will work
