so Ukraine server doesn't ignore dmca, we all have a problem here then
with the Russian server we never had that problem but now after few days in Ukraine we have already problems coz complains hmm the future doesn't look good
 
You can complain all you want. The movie in question was a foreign film that even the largest Warez sites get hit with. The company that sent it is known for it's brazen methods and ability to get things done. They have never been known to fully take down anything though. They just want the files removed is all.
 
I had to make a choice, either stay in Russia with terrible customer service and risk how many times the server can go down, or move to another location that will offer better support and actually listen to a customer. I thought that you guys would rather have your websites online rather then offline.
 
There is virtually no way to ignore DMCA complaints. If copyright owners want their content taken offline it will happen one way or another. If you don't remove content on your website, then they will find out your information from your domain register. If you used fake information then they will focus back on getting your website taken offline with law enforcement.
 
DMCA isn't a big problem. Your host can say they will ignore it 115%. But if they get complained to enough, they will have to cave or face charges of their own. So as Daring said, you just have to deal with it.

You do notice they only took down like 4 links out of a WHOLE FORUM OF PIRACY.

That has to show you something.
As I said the movie in question is a big controversy within DMCA. It gets taken down everywhere. Even WBB a huuuuuuuuuuuge well known forum, gets DMCA.

All we can do is make the best of it.

No host in the world will ignore a DMCA request, if some host says it will ,then thats a lie. Do you really think that a hosting company would risk getting sued just to protect a customer from a small DMCA request?

Which is better? Paying thousands of dollars or removing some content from a website?

Currently working on filtering the DDos attack.

There was also a problem with our power supply. The datacenter has changed it, and our server is now online.
