DA password reset - please help

HI,

i am not familiar with VPS server. My Direct Admin pass has been changed anyhow. I can't reset it as i can't also log in to my webmail.

But i have the putty login id and pass.

Can anyone tell me how can i reset the DA pass via putty?

please say it in details as i am new.

Have you tried doing passwd admin in ssh? Then giving it a new password.
You may have to restart directadmin from ssh afterwards.
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/directadmin restart
