Cracks are originally not infected, but all those cracks sites are from one Network. Which spread virusses around the world.
The cracks released by the scene groups are never infected, but Symantec & ESET and other AVs (maybe) are flagging keygens especially as Win32/Keygen.au virus and they give an alert to delete it. I browsed and researched over the net that its just their false accusation to stop people from using the keygen. Serials, well its not big deal, its just plain text. Patches/Cracks may have been binded with stealers and loggers, but most of the AVs detect them, and I personally never use such patch/crack as because a patch/crack just kills the protection and it has nothing to do in accessing your internet or managing your private files, etc. So, if a patch/crack is detected by AV as harmful, I don't use it.
Why not moving the current VPS to Ukraine, then you can HOST the cracks

If you think about it, keygen/cracks/patches/serials can be hosted on onshore too, because we are not actually distributing the software/game. We are just spreading a simple program made by random people which are not copyrighted.
Not sure whether this would be applicable to crack/patch, because they just reverse engineer the original application, so it can be a sort of copyright infringement.

I have to agree with DoctorX, you totally missed the crack site concept. Crack sites were always keeping cracks, patches and keygens on their servers.
WordPress for a cracks site, hmm.. Kinda weird you know, crack site only needs to have the list of the current cracks nothing else. No need for the weird screenshots, just the version number and crack.

I thought to host them on the server itself, but then I thought that if I were to move to a dedicated server (when the site grows big) then may God forbid, just incase I lose data while transferring, or in a worst case scenario, I get the daily backup of the data, but if I miss the backup of the home directory and if the server HDD crashes ? Then all the cracks, etc are lost.
So that made me to host them on RapidShare. I also had a talk with MrSandvik & Ash, and we discussed as in which is the most favourable filehost in the demand for downloaders and the results were RapidShare, so we stuck to it.
If you're talking about crack sites like keygen.nl, crack-serials-keygen.com, keygen.cc, bestserials.com, crack.ms, zcrack.com, etc. well they do host it on their server, but they infect it with a malware which steals people information. So a user who has stumbled upon these sites, got their PCs infected, after wasting time, got it fixed, he'll never visit them again. When he comes across crackz.me, sees that they are hosted on some filehost, he'll give a second thought and will be provoked to download it.
Also, MrSandvik suggested me that we should also show a screenshot of the files showing clean from online virus scanners. We will implement this idea in the next phase of the site development. Until then its not necessary.
I selected wordpress, as I got no other *good* CMS choice. Datalife Engine was suggested by Ash, but I told him that its heavy. The code structure of DLE is not much optimized.
The screenshots & fancy things are just for SEO. Google wants something relevant else it'd not show or rank in SERPs.

BlaZe want to start a cracks site without trojans.
The current concept of a cracks site is:
- Simple layout like all other crack sites
- Advertisements
- Trojans
- Malware
- Backdoors
- Keyloggers
So he has to come with something new, not based on the concept above. Either a blog, or a custom script.

Custom script is not an option for me as I'm still learning PHP and I can't even code a user management system as I haven't reached the cookie-session parts.

That's exactly how a crack site should look, fast and simple. They came for the crack, not some fancy layout and a crack hosted on RapidShare or any other file host.
It's not like Blaze will make those patches, keygens, game fixes and what not. They will be same like on every other crack site, so if you claim that cracks from other sites are infected, they will be infected on Blaze's site too.
Well, the original theme was o2. I removed the extra unwanted parts and made alot of edits to the theme. I'm still optimizing it for fast page loads. Also, in near future I'll get a theme which will direct the user's eye on the crack title and then to the crack download link and that is what it should be for a theme.
